We met at a West Seattle Diner on the morning of April 18th 2010. After some brainstorming we headed to Black Lab Studios #2 and proceeded to write the first song (40 Days). Then as we listened to more produce that I had carefully picked from my cache more emcees started to show up with the intentions of collaborating on this project. We never had an actual number of tracks in mind that we would try to accomplish but only the thought of going until we can't go anymore. Some artists are comfortable writing faster than others and some of us were focused mainly on contrast. Jewels engineered the sessions most of the time, when he wasn't cooking or writing. Phreewil and I manned the helm the rest of the time. After it was all said and done we were writing and recording from 9:30 am-5:30 am.
Roughly 20 hours of song writing. There ended up being 11 emcees on this record. It truly is the most productive day recording I've ever been a part of. Later on down the road I took some time out to mix and master it. 1 year later it's available for you to download free of charge.
